Radio Road

Plans were developed to add turn lanes to each leg of the intersection, widen the existing two-lane undivided section of Radio Road to four-lanes with a median for a length of one-half mile, and signalize the intersection.  The project also included a 3,200’ lateral ditch. In addition to designing 0.5 miles of 4-lane divided highway, this project included shifting the existing intersection approximately 1,000 feet southwest along Davis Boulevard and the design and permitting of signals at the intersection of Radio Road and Davis Boulevard (FDOT roadway and permitting required).  This project also included design and permitting of a water management system to serve the roadway.
