Agnoli, Barber and Brundage, Inc. In Naples, Florida is a mid-sized firm that has experienced continual growth in the practice of civil engineering, land planning, landscape architecture, and surveying and mapping. We have specialized expertise to provide all aspects of civil engineering required for land development and municipal projects. This expertise includes conceptual planning and feasibility studies; engineering surveys, design, plans and specifications, construction observation and construction administration. In addition, we provide general permitting coordination with local, state and federal regulatory agencies. We serve clients both in the private sector as well as government agencies. We are looking for an entry-level engineer who will work under direct supervision to support a project team working on Civil Engineering and Land Development projects.

ENTRY LEVEL ENGINEER

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide support to team by using AutoCAD, CIVIL 3D and understanding plan interpretations.

  • Provide project support by assisting in drafting documents, engineering calculations, site grading, performing due diligence and site analysis reports, completing engineer’s opinion of probable costs, submittal and pay application review, attend client meetings, create project schedules, report writing, modeling in various software applications, completing various local and state permit applications.

  • Conduct research as directed on properties and projects for zoning, local/state requirements 

​

  • ​Complete site visits and field assignments as required.

​

  • Assist in providing construction-related services such as: permit applications, construction plans and other related construction documents.

​

  • Communicate with Project Manager on workload status

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE / EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Effective verbal communication skills, analytical, and interpersonal skills produce high-quality deliverables in an efficient manner.

​

  • Team oriented with strong capability to work independently.

​

  • Has a persistent initiative to continually learn new technical practices.

​

  • Recent or prospective graduate from Engineering program at University level.

​

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering.

​

  • Has Engineering Intern Certification.

​

  • Strong written and verbal communications skills necessary.

​

  • Basic understanding of plan interpretation.

​

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Civil 3D is preferred.

​

AUTO CAD TECHNICAN

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develops engineering drawings, conceptual plans, technical specifications and exhibits for a variety of projects ranging in size and complexity and based on constraints defined by the project engineer, review agencies and client needs.

​

  • Draft plans for civil engineering projects based on information, schematics, and calculations prepared by project engineers.

​

  • Provides compliance with ABB drafting standards.

  • High school diploma or GED

​

  • Associates Degree preferred

​

  • Experience in CAD design for private and municipal Land Development projects a plus

​

  • Must be knowledgeable in basic construction practices for civil construction, be able to generate drawings for engineers, and make suggestions for further development.

​

  • Must be proficient in AutoCAD 2022, Civil 3D

​

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

​

  • Experience in plan set production for local projects preferred

​

  • Knowledge of GIS is plus
