Grace Place

Grace Place for Children and Families is a community educational center located in Golden Gate. The educational center is focused on breaking the cycle of poverty through tutoring, literacy programs and the teaching of life skills to children and families in Southwest Florida.

ABB led the project team through a successful Conditional Use approval by the Board of County Commissioners. Prior to this approval, Collier County recognized that Grace Place uses were not conforming to the original church use designated onsite. This was a critical step required by Grace Place to assure future sustainability and expansion at its current location. The conditional use approval was completed within the time constraints placed by Grace Place so that they could purchase the property from the Southwest District of the United Methodist Church.
